Facebook Creator Studio will now allow Instagram and IGTV publishing and scheduling.
Facebook is also planning to launch a news tab in a few months to “surface more high-quality news,” according to Mark Zuckerberg. Facebook is offering a lot of news outlets millions to be able to post their news content on Facebook’s new news tab.
Facebook is renaming Instagram and Whatsapp to Instagram from Facebook and Whatsapp to Facebook. Facebook wants to be the ever-present power that controls the apps we use every day.

Google Images
Google Images will implement a side panel that will blow up the image you click on that stays in place while you scroll. This will allow you to compare images to the image selected. Clicking on an image will also allow you to see details like price, brand, and reviews. You can also click through to the website to purchase.

Youtube
Youtube recently altered its algorithm after coming under fire from the FTC. They are trying to promote more quality family content which caused a lot of creators to lose a ton of views.

Twitter
Twitter announced they will remove third-party data from ad targeting options. They are following in Facebook’s footsteps and trying to be more transparent with how the data is collected.

Google
Google announced it will show playable links to podcasts in the search along with web pages, news, images, and videos. Google stated, “We’ll surface these episodes based on Google’s understanding of what’s being talked about on a podcast, so you can find even more relevant information about a topic in audio form.”
