      Schools have closed.

      Work is remote.

Restaurants are being urged to close or go to take out options.

Is this panic justified? Who knows. We’ll never know if we overreacted, we would only know if we were underprepared.

People are becoming recluses and staying home rather than going out. If you’re a local or small business owner, you’re seeing fewer and fewer people and less and less revenue.

What can you do to keep your business alive?

First things first, it’s okay to cut back hours.

Another proactive step is to change your business to curbside pickup or to-go orders.

But how will people know you’re making changes?

      Social media.

Time and time again, I write blogs talking about the importance of social media. This may be the time to really take to this.

DO NOT STOP ADVERTISING YOUR BUSINESS.

Keep your television, digital (Hulu) and social ads running. People are at home doing nothing. They WILL see your advertisements. It is not wasted money. If anything, the time is now to be implementing those avenues.

What if you really don’t want to spend more money on more television or digital ads?

Social media is FREE advertising. Brand awareness is the best and cheapest thing you can do to promote your business.

It takes only a few seconds to take a picture of a coffee cup and say “New Hours! Curbside pick-up!” or “Yes, we’re open!”

While people are working from home, they are scrolling through their phones trying to waste quarantine time or to keep up with the COVID-19 outbreak.

THAT’S why you need to keep your social media alive and well.

It’s a simple concept but will take your small business far.

While this is a new avenue for everyone, the VIP team is here for you and your business. You deserve, and need, VIP Marketing more than ever.

Give us a call. We’ll help you out.
